Bead Show! Part I.

Welcome to another Saturday at Saturday Sequins!

It's hard to believe I'm back from the Bead and Button Show already, but here I am. At home, safe and sound, with my beads and my sequins and my punk rock dolls. Happy, but exhausted. A lot happened in just a few days!

I plan to tell you all about it next weekend when I'm a little more coherent. Until then, here are some photos from the Bead Dreams 2013 exhibit.

Gorgeous chain maille jacket by Vanessa Walilko.

Amazing copper necklace by Ruth Jensen.

Astonishing wire tree cuff by Mary Tucker.

Unbelievable fish necklace by Kinga Nichols.

Sherry Serafini is once again extraordinary!

Fantastic eyeball corset by Laura McCabe.

Gorgeous necklace by Virginia Jensen...

With a view of the back of the piece.

This last piece wasn't a Bead Dreams entry, but I absolutely had to include it here. Because... amazeballs.

Beaded kimono by Takako Sako. Kirei desu!

There were so many other amazing pieces. I wish I could include them all, because they all deserve a place in this post! However, because of glare from display cases and my respect for Mr. Sequin's need to take a break from taking photos so he can go buy beads, I'm going to stop here.

Stay tuned for more Bead and Button awesomeness! Featuring several of today's featured artists.

Now it's your turn: did you go to the show? Did you have fun? And what did you buy???!!!

Thanks for stopping by, and have a sequintastic day!

    1. It was, most definitely. I had to restrain myself from buying a whole bunch of vintage sequins -- I already have enough to last me several lifetimes! I'm sure you know exactly what I mean. ;)

  7. You got to go to B&B!!! And Mr. Sequin was into bead shopping! It sounds pretty much like nirvana...when I grow up (or hit the Powerball, or have a job that doesn't include a work commitment over the first week of June), I want to go to B&B. To ogle. To meet people. To shop until my credit card flat-out melts from overuse...Can't wait to hear more stories from your time there!
